We are proud to offer unique, high quality toys that promote open-ended play and inspire imagination. Our carefully selected inventory includes natural toys and gifts (many made with Organic materials) that are eco-friendly, USA made, European made, and fair trade, or sweatshop-free. We seek out toy companies and manufacturers who meet our high standards of quality, safety, and who are both socially and environmentally responsible.

Our products are Waldorf-inspired and Montessori-inspired wooden toys or handmade dolls with simple designs, broadening the imagination and creativity of our children--two aspects we believe to be most important in childhood play.

Our fair trade products ensure artisans (many marginalized women and/or single mothers) with ongoing fair income as well as funding for projects spanning from educational programs and care for children to preserving endangered wildlife. Our selection of fair trade toys and gifts are not only high in quality, they also have positive social and environmental impacts. Shipping Information:

We are conscious of the environment and recycle and reuse packaging materials when possible.

Purchases are generally shipped within 24 hours,with the exception of weekends, holidays and items that ship direct from the manufacturer (longer processing times will be posted on the product page).

We charge shipping according to weight, starting at $3.95. Our standard shipping rates apply to ground shipping in the U.S. Please allow 1-5 days from date of shipment. Items under three pounds will ship USPS First Class or Priority mail (2-3 days). Heavier packages will ship via FedEx or UPS. FedEx and UPS will not ship to a P.O. Box, therefore we will need a street address or a business address. A tracking number and/or shipping confirmation number will be provided via email.

Additional shipping fees will apply to express shipping requests.

International Shipping and Orders:

Over-sized items and items that ship directly from the manufacturer (noted on item page) will not be shipped internationally.

Orders going to Canada and United Kingdom may be placed on our check out page. We will notify you if the actual shipping rates are significantly different than quoted on the check out page.

Orders going to all other countries, please email us your order, shipping address, and Paypal email address. We will reply with a shipping quote and total. If you aprove the total, we will send an invoice through Paypal to be paid upon receipt through Paypal's secure payment pages. We do require a verified shipping address through Paypal for buyer and seller protection. Contact us with any questions.

Special Orders: We are happy to help you with special orders. If you are interested in an item we do not carry from any of our manufacturers, we will do our best to get the item for you. General Check-Out Procedures:

We accept American Express, Discover, Master Card, Visa, and Paypal. Just follow the payment and billing prompts on our secure check-out pages to pay with your choice of credit card.

You may pay through your Paypal account by choosing the PayPal option on our check out page.

Out of Stock Items: If an item is out of stock, feel free to contact us if you would like to be informed when we expect more. We often place special orders for our customers, Email Us for details.

Returns:

We accept returns within 30 days for exchange or refund of the cost of the item, excluding shipping. Items must be returned in original received condition and all original packaging. Please email to let us know which item you will be returning and when we can expect it. If an item arrives damaged, email us right away to request a new item sent or a refund. All damaged items and original packaging and materials must be saved for insurance purposes.

We make sure that the toys we offer come from companies who are environmentally conscious and socially responsible (with no tolerance for sweatshops or child labor). Children will fall in love with our Waldorf dolls, and our Wooden toys that are specially made to show off their true, natural beauty. We find that Waldorf-inspired and Montessori-inspired toys generally carry the highest play value, longer toy lifespans (some will last through generations), and a true respect for the natural world.
